The Ethereum home network upgrade, Ethereum 2.0 (aka Serenity) deployment should be implemented in stages, the first of which is step 0. The upgrade will, among other things, cause scratches, pencil alignment (PoS), and new virtual machines.

On Wednesday, the research team at ETH 2.0 addressed the third AMA meeting (read something) where the network and its latest developer could ask what they are interested in.

One of those questions is the frequently asked question – realistically, when could Cryptoverse see Stage 0 moving? “I don’t see the reality that stage 0 will not start in 2020,” teammate Dan Ryan wrote. He explained that the tests are stronger each week and that audits exist, but also noted that such assessments depend on specifics and clients that are ready for third-party review. “The rest depends on the latest email of this work on engineering concerns and stabilization / optimization.”

However, the current Ethereum network is strong in itself and will remain so for the next few years, he said, with customer teams getting “heroic” optimization and implementing Tier 2 structures. Also, “ETH 1, which lives in ETH 2, allows original access to be expanded on the carved data layer,” says Ryan

While Ryan reveals that Stage 0 will “really” begin in 2020, his colleague Justin Drake looks a little more cautious, putting his confidence at 95%. Drake sees Ethereum’s fifth anniversary on July 30 as a good time, and is confident that launch is unlikely in the first and second quarters, especially if three users are ready before launch.

Some people seemed frustrated with postponing stage 0 once again, but the developers explained that since some changes to stage 0 specification were needed, a new direction for step 1 was needed, a deadline. “The next two months are not significant,” and tests have to be completed, so a date cannot be established, Ryan says.

Hadling vs. Stakes
As for setting up ETH accounts for users 2.0, Hsiao-Wei Wang said that no additional procedures are currently required for ETH 1 accounts, and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Butrin wrote that “if you only own ETH and you want it. To save your money, not all current offers have the risk of entering the cave for five years.

Grand Canyon: The most spectacular gorge in the world

Located in the American state of Arizona, in the Midwest of the country is the amazing natural phenomenon that is the Grand Canyon. The canyon itself covers 1,218,375 acres and extends to the Colorado Plain. The Colorado River is thought to have carved its way through the canyon for millions and millions of years, the exact amount of which is the subject of debate among geologists. But no matter how old it is, school trips to the Grand Canyon will fill students with awe as they look at one of the world’s seven natural wonders – given the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 as & # 39; the most spectacular gorge in the world. & # 39;

When on school trips to Grand Canyon National Park, students will learn how the park simply provided government protection in 1893 as a Forrest Reserve. Only later, in 1919, did it become the Grand Canyon National Park – three years after the National Parks Service was initiated. These days, the park hosts about five million visitors each year.

The Grand Canyon landscape is semi-arid, and there are forests located on some of the upper levels of ridges and plateaus, while the lower elevation is made up of desert ponds. While on their school trips, students can see the geography of the park itself: it is made up of several large eco systems, and contains five of the seven living areas and three of the four wilderness species found in North America.

School trips to the western rim of the canyon will take students to the edge of the canyon, and beyond. The new Grand Canyon Skywalk is a glass bridge that arches over the West Canyon Row allowing visitors to walk seventy feet beyond the edge of the canyon, moving 4,000 feet in the air, for a truly impressive view. If the itinerary allows and the students are lucky enough to have time to get into the canyon, they can donkey, ride a guide or even go rafting on the Colorado River. Otherwise, regular helicopter tours work to give visitors a bird’s eye view of this amazing natural wonder.

Paleochora – Crete & Crete's Best Secret

Paleochora, & # 39; The Libyan Sea Bride & # 39; as it is called, is a small, typical Greek town (or perhaps a large village) that sits on the southwest coast of the island of Crete. Well, & # 39; sitting & # 39; on the coast it's a little misleading. The city is built on a small peninsula that overlooks the sea and is a perfect holiday destination for many & # 39; About 80% of tourists visiting the city come back again and again. Many will not recommend Paleochora to anyone but trusted friends as they want to keep it from becoming too popular and developed!

Getting to Paleochora is easy. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk from the west cost to the east coast and the whole city lies between the two, so you are never far from anywhere. Someone once described it as being on a small, private Greek island, as it is easy to forget that you are bound by a large land mass.

That measure of land is useful, beware. Large mountains protect Paleochora from the worst weather. Many times it can rain on the northern coast and sunny and dry on the Paleochora! The city boasts two & # 39; Blue Flag & # 39; beaches, a large sandy beach (which has a semi-formal nudist section) on the west side and a pebbly beach on the east side. This is useful as, on windy days, there is always a beach that is sheltered. The water is very clean, crystal clear and there are no dangerous currents, so bathing is safe for everyone. In fact Paleochora is an ideal destination for a family fashion celebration.

At the heart of the peninsula is a 12th-century Venetian Fort that is worth exploring – unfortunately mostly only walls remain these days, but there is a lot of archaeological work done to show the structures that once stood here. Moreover, the views back to the city with the mountains behind are wonderful. Keep your eyes peeled! You can discover a century-old Venetian coin on the ground or even an old cannon ball!

At night the city turns into a low key but interesting resort. The main street running through the city center and the east beach promenade are closed for traffic after 7am and restaurants and bars set their tables in the street. Walking around the city listening to many different languages spoken by people enjoying themselves is a real pleasure. There is no drunken behavior, there are just no good people who all have a nice evening. This is a complete escape from the brakes, & # 39; in your face & # 39; resorts in which many small towns have grown. Here you can experience Greece as it was 25 or 30 years ago (even the prices here are the lowest in Crete).

Understanding the pros and cons of a kerosene stove and other liquid fuel stoves

There are no real differences between the kerosene pressure cooker, the single fuel stove and the multi fuel stove, except the fuel and fuel gas used to deliver the fuel to the combustion. The models are probably different, but we're still talking about a liquid fuel stove.

Most of the time, the fuel tank must be under pressure. So there is the initial pumping of the tank and then several times during cooking.

Details to look for in a kerosene stove and other liquefied petroleum stoves:

1. The style or design differs between the kerosene pressure cooker and the single or multi-fuel cooker.

2. Style and design also vary within each of the three categories.

  1. There are two basic patterns for # 1 and # 2:
    1. The burner and fuel tank are attached
    2. The burning and fuel tank are separated and connected to a hose.

3. Repairability: Can the stove be easily repaired in the field?

  1. Tools any tool required?
  2. Partsdo any spare parts required?
    1. How easy is it to get an exchange before you go on a trip?
    2. Are spare parts affordable?

4. How easy is the fuel tank to rise?

  1. Are the parts of good quality or cheap plastic? Remember that plastic is not always bad. It is lightweight and can be very durable.
  2. Do the fingers fit the pump or crawl or push off the road?
  3. It takes a long time to put pressure on? This varies based on the amount of fuel in the tank.

5. How easy is it to refill the fuel tank?

For stoves that have the fuel tank and the burner connected, you have to carry a spare fuel bottle to pour into the tank. This can cause fuel spillage; both in you and on earth.

For stoves that have burners and fuel tanks, the spare fuel bottle becomes the new fuel tank. All you do is remove the tops and replace the bottles.

  1. This means that there is no fuel spill.
  2. No fuel spillage
  3. Much less and less fuel handling.

6. A real pet peeve of mine is a shortcut to fuel regulation. On some stoves you almost burn your fingers when adjusting the fuel supply. Check out this feature and make sure you can adjust the fuel supply without sacrificing any figures.

  1. Check the stove base:
    1. It should be wide with 3 or 4 point long legs.
    2. The base must be stable and easily adjustable to get the stove level. This is usually done with a rock or piece of wood. Some stoves may have adjustable legs.

7. Look at the cooking surface:

  1. How big of a pot will it hold and remain stable?
  2. This also applies to the weight of the pot when full.

8. Remember the holding case.

  1. It should be lightweight, carry everything, including spare and flexible parts. Better packaged with a flexible case.

9. Finally, does it come with a reflection of wind / heat?

  1. It doesn't matter if you do or not, but you will still need one.

Kerosene pressure cooker

pros

  1. It will not explode, flammable, and therefore safer than other liquid, flammable fuels.
  2. Available worldwide and free
  3. High heat to weight ratio
  4. The best stove to use in extreme weather
  5. Will not explode (flammable)

Cons

  1. It can be very messy
  2. It can smoke if not properly adjusted
  3. young
  4. It does not boil well unless you lift the pot over the stove
  5. Maintenance can be disturbing
  6. Fuel storage

Single and multi fuel stove

pros

Uses different types of fuel:

* Naptha Type Fuels – Coleman Fuel, MSR Fuel, White Gas, Shell, Fuel, Zippo Fuel, Ronsonol Fuel, Heptane, Blazo, Cigarette Released Liquid and Some Light Coal Fluids

* Unauthorized gas – VERY NOT recommended; It emits very toxic fumes

* White gas – This is gasoline in its purest form, with no additives

1. Easier to find the fuel you need.

2. High heat to weight ratio.

3. The best stove to use in extreme weather

Cons

Multi-fuel stoves are more expensive than single-fuel models

  1. Less messy and evaporates much faster than kerosene or diesel
  2. It can smoke if not properly adjusted
  3. It does not boil well unless you lift the pot over the stove
  4. Maintenance can be disturbing
  5. Fuel storage
  6. It will explode (flammable) except kerosene and diesel

kerosene and oil can also be used in multi-fuel stoves. The same pros and cons are still valid.

Sniping Rabbits – Children And Hunting

There is not much greater joy than transferring your knowledge to your children, especially if it is related to a mutual passion. I am blessed to have three sons who share my enthusiasm for being out and about hunting. Recently, we took a trip to our favorite rabbit-infested property and while there was certainly a lot of fun, I was glad to be able to teach them some important lessons.

It was a Saturday after my boys, Matthew, Timothy and Andrew, had completed their sports commitments for the day. Everyone agreed the weather was too good to stay home and an afternoon sniper rabbit was on the agenda. After a brief text to the estate owner to confirm that it was good for us to go hunting, we quickly packed the car with all the essentials for a rabbit hunt.

Gemini, rifles, ammunition, ears and of course all the other foresight that a young boy must take on a hunting trip was thrown into the back of his four-wheel drive. The boys like to pack their army greens and fill their belts with pocket knives, many tools, torches and wires to ignite an emergency fire. The kids have an adventurous born spirit and obviously have a little Scout [mischievous] boy born to us all.

I'm lucky that the boys are three brothers who enjoy each other's company and enjoy the opportunity to hunt together. They have become very competent with their favorite rifle, a CZ 452 Classic at .17HMR. .17 is a fantastic caliber for kids to learn to shoot with; has virtually no flat traction and shooting, making it easy to use over a wide range of distances. Matthew holds the family record of 36 rabbits in a day with this rifle, but the other two are keen to overcome this.

Upon arriving at the property, we headed and headed towards our favorite spot which gives us a wide view of a number of warrens. We call the type of shooting we were about to engage in & # 39; sniping & # 39; because it involves longer-range shots with great accuracy. The shooting is usually over 200m and a rifle in one of the caliber.22 proves to be the best medicine for our main target – rabbits.

We found the .17HMR quite capable of pulling rabbits up to 140m, but larger-caliber rifles are more appealing to the game and fun to shoot due to the extremely flat trajectory.

As well as using their CZ on this trip, the guys would shoot rabbits with my Remington 700.22-250. It is a beautiful rifle with a laminated stock with a finger hole and a heavy steel barrel. The push is fitted with a bipod and has had considerable work on the trigger to ensure it crisply breaks to 2lb. I believe a good shot has a huge impact on one's ability to shoot accurately, and the sniping rabbit needs a rifle and its shooter to be as good as possible.

The other important part of a long-range varmint hunting kit is a high quality scope. Normally, I am not an advocate of using high-powered superpower in hunting rifles, but because rabbit sniper requires accurate shooting accuracy, I find that a space of at least 14x is needed.

After a brief period of glass around the binocular hills, the boys would soon notice some rabbits. The rifle is on view to shoot 1.5 "high at 100 meters and can continuously shoot in groups of five sub-MOA shooting. The boys were directed to aim in the middle of each rabbit's chest to guarantee a kill of fast, human.

The first rabbit succumbed to the power of the .22-250 and soon, there was more to fall. It's amazing how quickly rabbits get out of their wars despite being scared of a previous blast by a rifle. Patience is an essential virtue of a rabbit sniper, and if you are willing to sit long enough, the rabbits will again emerge on their own in the sun.

After exterminating the population of the first warren, we headed towards a nearby mess, to another place that offers an ideal sniper spot. During the first ridge on our walk, one of the boys spotted a wild black cat. The animal proved very elusive in this first instance and disappeared from looking over the cake bank.

This started a long stalk, which took us more than 1km along the course, until again we were able to strike a cat. Matthew was able to place a .17-caliber ballistic pin across the back of the animal's backbone and was pleased with himself for shooting his first wild cat.

As we settled into our next sniper spot, the boys found a returning lizard. As all family hunters will know, taking children on hunting trips is not just about shooting; it provides an opportunity for them to explore all things in our natural environment.

Many kids these days spend hours playing their game consoles and hardly ever venture out of their bedroom. Being in large outdoor environments develops in children an appreciation of our native animals and plants, and reducing wildlife is one way boys can contribute to helping these native breeds prosper.

After some sniping, we started heading home. We stopped at a log resting on a fence, which provided a perfect break for the boys to get a targeted practice in with .17. The guys really enjoy shooting goals and understand the need to be an accurate shot when shooting live play. We could have stayed there shooting our machine targets for hours, but it was starting to get dark and we needed to find the four-wheel drive.

One of the essential skills of shrub hunting is to be able to navigate your way in the vehicle. I am always discussing with the boys the importance of being aware of their surroundings and getting the attention of distinctive monuments. They also used technology and had the car set up as a way out on their GPS when we started. When it came time to go back, we simply followed the direction of the travel arrow on their GPS.

Sliding rabbits provide the opportunity to teach children the basics of hunting, such as walking a little and looking hard, jumping quietly and on the road and of course, using a rifle to its full potential. These skills will definitely become useful for guys as they start hunting for a bigger game like deer with me as they grow a little older.

While driving home I couldn't stop thinking about what special time we always have together on these trips. The boys were already planning our next outing. "Dad, next time can we whistle a few folds?" said one of the boys. "Safe," I replied. Bring on the weekends!

Cheroots – Real Stogies

Many of us, including ourselves, who talk about tobacco – either behind our backs or as we inhale – use the term "stogie" interchangeably with the word "cigarette." But from a technical standpoint, this is incorrect; not to upset Merriam and Webster and throw them their book at us, we will correct ourselves. A stogie is really not just any cigarette ol; one carat is a Cheroot, a cylindrical cigarette that – during production – grips both ends, making the cigarette sound as if it were neutral.

The word Cheroot is derived from the French word cheroute, which comes from a Tamil word meaning "tobacco scroll". It is believed that the French absorbed this word in their language during the 16th century when they attempted to influence South Indian cultures with their own cultures.

As for the word stogie, the nickname for kerosene, it derives from the word Conestoga, which was the name of the area where it first became popular for these cigarettes. Some of the earliest smokers of these types of cigarettes were people driving Conestoga wagons through the Conestoga Valley of Pennsylvania.

A characteristic of carrots is their inability to shrink. This makes them relatively cheap to manufacture mechanically and cheap to buy, which, of course, makes them a popular choice for consumers. Mark Twain, one of the world's most famous cigar lovers, was photographed with a glove on hand on many occasions. He was believed to buy only carrots or cigarettes at a relatively cheap price; the expensive ones he smoked were said to be gifts.

While Cuba, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic are the most commonly discussed tobacco roots, carrots look for Asia. Traditionally smoked in both Burma and India, chariots are sometimes used as a Burmese reference in American and English literature. As their popularity grew in Burma and India, kerosene also became widespread among the British as the British center of the Supreme Kingdom reigned.

In the early to mid-1900s, people began associating hand-neck smoking with the ability to resist India's tropical diseases, especially malaria. In 1957, Verrier Elwin, who served as a missionary and teacher in India, wrote a memoir entitled, Leaving the Jungle: Life in a Gond Village. In it, he discussed the qualities of Cheroot's immunity by writing, "One final thing strikes me as I read the pages of the diary that follows is that I seem to have spent much of my time getting sick. I attribute this to the fact that in those days I was a non-smoker. Since I went to research, I have not had a single malaria attack and my health has improved tremendously in later years. "

Although Elvin attributed malaria avoidance to his consumption of kerosene, modern-day researchers believe it was not the real one but the smoke. The aroma that the smoke emits is something that mosquitoes likely find uncomfortable, avoiding smokers and making an archaic version of DEET.
